To the Editor of the Daily:

	The Bakke decision is correct.  Race and sex quotas are
wrong, even on behalf of minorities.  Unfortunately, the self-righteous
left has resumed a strategy of intimidation on behalf of discriminatory
quotas.  Since the courts and Stanford University have shown themselves
capable of being intimidated, those who support the Bakke decision must
organize to resist the intimidation.  I would welcome telephone or mail
communication from people interested in a %2Committee to Defend the Bakke
Decision%1.  It is hoped that the life of the committee could be short.
